Young-Deok Seo makes a statement about the repetitive, monotonous, machine-like way we often walk through life. Using chains the Seoul based artist welds figurative sculptures that are purposefully unfinished as a way to express the “incomplete nature of modern day humans.”

The Disappearing Face of New York

It took James and Karla Murray over eight years to make a photo series on small 0ld shops of New York. By now one third of these shops are closed. Their book ”Store Front: The Disappearing Face of New York” is filled with photos of these bankrupt stores that represent nothing more than a vague memory.
